About me
Connections are my currency. Linking both lobes of my brain. Introducing people. Combining ideas and transforming them
into visual storytelling.
I had a 10-year career in merchandising at Target before making the switch to design. Anaylzing numbers, evaluating spreadsheets and making inferences to increase sales and solve software issues were routine. But I craved opportunities to apply my creativity to visual solutions.

With knowledge and projects from design school, I delved into graphic design. I enjoy the many aspects of being a designer, not limited to the visual parts. Kicking off projects, understanding objectives and audiences, creating timelines, concepting, and fine tuning text in layout are the collaborative, relationship-based aspects that I thrive on.

Arriving to graphic design as a second career, I understand that design's first job is to communicate information to your audience in a way they understand. This is a conscientious marriage of text and visuals working together, neither overpowering the other.

Like a good marriage or dance partner, certain traits lend themselves to a happy design journey: steady eye contact, open communication, anticipating turns, and assuming good intent.
