System signage

Hospitals and clinics have unique and specific information that must be communicated to a wide variety of audiences. The diverse patient population includes 5 core languages: English, Spanish, Russian, Somali and Hmong.

 

As a starting point in the project research phase, I reviewed information signs at airports, which inspired my use of icons and graphics as the first element to communicate.
